This fresh, healthy side dish is brightened by the aromatic spices and bold flavors of our Domaine de Provence® Red Harissa Paste. The combination of peppers, garlic, and spices will linger on the palate, perfectly balanced by the milky, fresh flavor of our Fondo di Toscana® Ricotta Salata. This is an excellent side dish for grilled meat, chicken, or baked eggplant.

 

Roasted Asparagus with Harissa and Ricotta Salata 

ingredients 


1 lb Asparagus / standard or thin / cut

1 T Jansal Valley® Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 t Domaine de Provence® Red Harissa Paste

¼ C Jansal Valley® Sundried Tomatoes / chopped

¼ C Fondo di Toscana® Ricotta Salata / shaved

Preheat oven to 375° F. In a large bowl, toss asparagus with olive oil and harissa. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven, and incorporate sundried tomatoes. Top with shaved cheese. Serve warm or at room temperature.
